"Christ Pilot Me" hill on Highway 96 east of Bazine, KS. Rocks on the hillside spell out those words. The
story goes that a teacher was listening to the radio during the troubling times during WWII.  The song
"Jesus, Savior Pilot Me" came on, and he was inspired to do something to comfort passersby.  He got
some youth from his church to place rocks spelling out the message on a local hillside.  The crosses
were  placed there a number of years later.
