Shirley Plantation, Charles City, VA.  Plantation was founded in 1613 and has been in the same family for
10 generations.  They still live here on the 2nd floor.  Robert E. Lee's mother was born here, and he spent
much of his childhood here.  The pineapple on the roof signifies hospitality.
